I am a high school student...I have been giving tutoring lessons for almost a year...my students have become more confident in their subject/topic after having a session with me...as a high school student, I understand the expectations of teachers and parents from their students.

My first session begins with introducing each other and getting comfortable with each other as an icebreaker. If the student is sure about their weak area, I ask them further questions to know more about the difficulty they are facing in the topic. If the student is unsure about their weak topic, I help them pinpoint by asking them questions, giving them a few problems on the subject, and by knowing the subject progress at school. The later classes continue with me teaching them concepts if necessory and by providing them with worksheets.
