About Myia

I can say with full confidence that I will try my best to be an amazing tutor. Of course, everyone makes mistakes, but my goal is to push past them and be 10x better the next day.

A little about me!

It's safe to say I've had an interesting life so far, which has led to many intriguing stories. But I'll keep it short for now.

I enjoy playing the piano in my free time and even composing my own little tunes.

I absolutely love to draw; I’d say I do it nearly every day and am continuing to grow as an artist.

I also love writing, particularly creative writing or stories for comic book ideas I've developed.

Another one of my favorite things to do is sing. I've been in choir for only two years, but I’ve been singing my whole life, even if no one knew.

About the lesson

Of course, I like to take a patient and kind approach to everything. I understand that everyone is different, and everyone learns differently. Teaching 1,000 students the same exact way just won't work, which is why I'm here! Taking a mental break while learning might be necessary too! Plus, we can have snacks and desserts while we learn.

I'm here to teach from Kindergarten, to 8th grade. My first approach would be seeing what we already know. Then, we'll see what the most important thing to know is for upcoming classes or tests! I'll be sure they start teaching everyone else in class!

I like to learn with games, which I'll be sure to include, as well as rewarding correct answers and such. My goal is to create a calming, yet fun learning environment for your child. So I hope you choose me to make them the best they can be!
