About Autumn
I have been playing flute for six years and oboe for four years. At my old middle school, I would teach the beginner students how to play flute, including learning the correct embouchure, which can be one of the hardest parts of learning to play the flute. I have also been a part of the O'Fallon High School marching and concert band for two years, and am an incoming Junior.

About the lesson

I teach beginner flute and oboe lessons. Lessons can vary with level changes the playing level.
For either instrument, I start with a five minute warm up, focusing on tone and air control. Afterwards, I move into different playing exercises to work on fingering techniques. Finally, I work through concert pieces.
PS: I can teach with no playing experience, but lessons will look different.
