About Maria-Jose
As a student at Cypress Bay Highschool, I have tutored 10 of my peers in chemistry, algebra 1, algebra 2 and in biology. My peers have told me I teach at a much less complicated level than most of their teachers. I have passed the classes with an A or B+ (algebra 2) in the semesters. I have also passed both algebra 1 and biology EOCs with a 5 given by the state of Florida.

My teaching method is to see what you know already and work from there. As I help my peers, they do a problem on their own and as they get stuck I help them and teach them an easier way of approaching the problem. I make sure you understand the basic concepts before letting you do a problem on your own completely. Once you do a problem on your own, I would check the problem with you to see if there were any mistakes made. I also have some extra notes that would be given to you
