About Ali
My name is Ali, and I’m a 15-year-old math tutor who works with students from kindergarten through 8th grade. I love helping kids learn math in a way that feels clear, fun, and less stressful. As a student myself, I understand that everyone learns differently, so I focus on being patient, supportive, and encouraging during every lesson. My goal is to help students improve their math skills, build confidence, and feel proud of their progress.

My lessons are designed for K–8 students who need help with homework, test preparation, math fundamentals, or extra practice. I teach topics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, pre-algebra, and algebra basics.
My teaching method focuses on breaking problems down step-by-step and making sure students fully understand concepts before moving on. I make lessons interactive by practicing together, asking questions, and explaining math in simple ways that are easy to remember.
A typical lesson includes reviewing previous material, learning or practicing a new topic, solving problems together, and ending with independent practice to build confidence. I also adjust lessons based on each student’s learning style and pace.
What sets me apart is that I can relate closely to younger students and explain math in a way that feels less intimidating and more approachable. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and enjoy learning while improving their skills.
