About my lessons:
- Lessons are for students in Kindergarten-4th grade!
- Visual representations (whether it’s drawing the problem on a piece of paper or drawing it on a whiteboard)
- Making the lesson fun (we can do a fun activity that involves the topic that the student is struggling with, or with permission I can buy candy and give the student a few after the lesson as an achievement)
- Hands on learning (giving the student a chance to work through the problem step by step and basically it just means that the student will also have the opportunity to write it as well because doing it also trains your brain)
- Reflections (after a lesson is finished I will write a few problems down for the student to answer based on what they learned from the lesson)
- Worksheets for extra practice can be printed and I can do that and bring it and help the student with them if needed, just let me know.
- I give brain breaks meaning we can stretch, draw, or just anything you would like to do to take your mind off school for a minute. (I can make brain breaks up to 10 minutes but it requires permission from the parent!)
