About Jade
I am a high school student who has been in advanced classes for a majority of my schooling. I pick up on information quickly and can adapt to new environments just as fast. I am often told by those around me that I am very intelligent and respectful. I am very knowledgeable about topics that kids may enjoy such as space, gaming, STEM, art, and more. I can work with special needs kids (such as those with ASD, ADHD/ADD, etc), as I have worked with them in public schools and my own younger sibling with homeschooling.

I can teach both elementary English and math, and if need be, other elementary topics such as science and history. I keep children engaged by using reward systems such as stickers, high fives, and verbal praise. I try to build relationships with those that I work with, as I can learn more about them and adjust my teaching style to fit their interests and needs better. My teaching methods can include hands on such as drawing and blocks. I can work efficiently with different learning styles including visual, audio/verbal, or even a combination. I am able to help with homework and other assignments. I can also help with test preparation.
