About Emma
My name is Emma and I'm a Junior at Park High School. I've played the piano for a total of 8 years, but I only started getting serious about it these last few. I think the reason I started loving it again is because I have a really good teacher. I've learned "traditional" piano knowledge, challenging sheet music, and even some music theory all while getting to choose for myself the kind of music I want to play. I want to be able to give the same level of helpfulness and encouragement that I was given, and I think it would be super cool to be able to spread my love for piano.

I typically work with elementary school aged kids. I meet students where they're at and work at their own pace. Learning an instrument should never be boring or stressful. I always start with the basics and then grow from there. I believe lessons should be based off of what songs or music someone is interested in learning, not just practicing from some random book.
