About Ellery
I’ve loved reading since I was small enough to flip through cardboard picture books, and writing since early elementary school! These things have always come easily and naturally to me, but they can be hard sometimes, and that’s why I’d love to help! I have a passion for writing and grammar, and I think I would be great at giving kids the extra little bit of help they may need, so that they can see that reading and writing aren’t quite as intimidating as they seem! I’m passionate about spreading the love that I have for literature and academics in a way that makes learning fun and rewarding!

As a tutor, I’ll make sure that whoever I’m working with is having fun while they’re learning! It’s not too long ago that I was in elementary school english classes, overwhelmed by all of the rules and memorization, but I got the hang of it! I’ve been reading and writing for a very long time, and think I have a pretty good idea of what can keep kids interested and willing to learn.
