About Lila
My tutoring experience began with helping my younger sister, who was struggling with confidence in math. Over the course of a year, I supported her with homework, explained new concepts in simple ways, and created practice questions to strengthen her understanding. Through consistent guidance, her marks improved from an average of 80% to 98%, and she now feels confident in class. I also assist classmates at school when they need help before assessments or with homework, especially in algebra and number skills. These experiences have taught me patience, clear communication, and the importance of tailoring explanations to each student’s needs. I am very passionate in math I have always loved it and I believe everyone can be good at math with the right support.

I am very committed to helping others understand and enjoy mathematics as much as I do. Although I am still in high school I have received math awards and I am doing the HSC for math a year early. I have tutored my sister and she has gone from an 80% to a 98% average in her exams over the course of a year (she is in year 8). I want to be able to help others flourish and grow, especially primary school students, and to help them understand mathematics.
