About Bell
Teaching beginners how to code allows me to see the exact moment a logical concept clicks into place like a gear shifting in a machine. My instruction focuses on C++ and Java while maintaining clean code practices throughout every project. I often work with high-schoolers prepping for CS degrees and adults starting from zero.
My background includes an MS in Computer Science from USC plus 3 years as a SWE, which helps me bridge the gap between theory and actual industry standards. I cover web development, Python, SQL, databases, and DSA for interview preparation. My competitive programming expertise keeps our sessions grounded in the reality of building robust software. I help students debug their logic so their progress is never hindered by frustration.

Simple syntax is rarely the hardest part of building complex software. Most of my students find that articulating the problem is more difficult than writing the code itself.
We use a GitHub repo to track every aspect of your progress throughout our time together. My 7 years of experience as a tutor and developer ensure that your learning path remains logical.
