About Miguel
I immensely enjoy the subject of mathematics and thrive at it however I do understand that it is not easy to the majority of students. I will patiently sit with you and build the foundations needed to understand the topics that you are struggling with. I have many success stories from students who struggled with math from a student who needed to pass the Algebra 1 state test to get her GED to go on to cosmetic school as well as a student who needed to pass geometry and the SAT to get his D1 scholarship for college.

I am a high school teacher with 7 years experience and 5 years of tutoring experience in subjects from 5th grade math up to AP Calculus. We will sit down and work together not only building up understanding of step by step procedures to solving problems but also focus on why and how these methods work in a more conceptual point of view.
