About Laura
I am a bilingual high-school teacher living in Cardiff currently teaching History, Welsh and religious education and I am totally committed to student success. I currently teach key stage 3 (year 7 - 9) and key stage 4 (Year 10 & 11) and attend annual courses with the examining body in Wales to ensure a comprehensive understanding of exam requirements. My subject area in my current school has a proven track record, with last years A* - C pass grade totalling 97%. I have extensive experience working with students with additional learning needs and academically advanced students. I approach every lesson with an unique, fun and inspirational approach.

As a young and enthusiastic teacher, the key to my students achievements is my ability to understand and relate to my students. I tailor all lessons to the needs and abilities of my students and adapt the style of lesson according to the way in which each student learns. Every student is an individual - learning through a combination of visual, audio and kinesthetic teaching - and therefore my students will each receive a personalised education. At GSCE level, I believe firmly in teaching exam practice and exam technique as well as subject content to ensure the student's success. I assess progress continually and can be reliable and flexible in order to cater for students' needs.
