With over 20 years of experience teaching high school science, I bring deep knowledge and a passion for making complex ideas clear and engaging. I love helping students discover the excitement of physical sciences, build confidence, and develop a true understanding of how the world works.
To assess a student's needs and goals, I begin by identifying their current understanding, learning style, and specific challenges. From there, I collaborate with the student to set clear, achievable objectives that build skills, deepen comprehension, and track progress towards their goals.
My lessons are designed primarily for high school students, focusing on physical science, physics, chemistry and AP Chemistry. I also have experience tutoring college-level general chemistry and logic.
