About Laura
I am a science teacher with over 15 years' teaching experience, mostly in schools but a little experience in tutoring. At home I helped my own two daughters to succeed in school subjects. I have a good sense of humour and pretty high expectations, so if you are keen to do well academically I will guide you to get there!

I teach year 7-10 Science, year 11 and 12 Physics and Chemistry. I aim to help you understand the concepts covered in the Australian Curriculum and SACE, so that you can answer questions and successfully do any calculations required for that subject. In addition I'll help improve your research skills so that your report writing and essay writing (particularly Science as a Human Endeavour) will improve!
I endeavour to make lessons enjoyable and interesting, showing and discussing relevant YouTube clips that show practical applications of science and maths. I have many past papers and example questions that we can work through together. I aim to help you become more confident in your science skills.
