About Aarush

My name is Aarush, and I’m a passionate high school student with a love for both math and teaching. I’ve earned A’s in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry, and I enjoy helping other students truly understand these subjects — not just memorize them. I believe that when math is taught clearly and patiently, anyone can succeed. Outside the classroom, I’m a dedicated tennis player who knows the value of discipline, focus, and hard work. These are traits I bring into every tutoring session. Whether I’m on the court or working through equations, I give my best effort and stay committed to improvement. I’m genuinely passionate about helping others gain confidence in math, and I look forward to making a difference in each student’s academic journey.

About the lesson

Hi! I'm Aarush, a high school student who earned A’s in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry. I’ve mastered these subjects and am passionate about helping other students build the same confidence and understanding in math that I did.

My Teaching Method:
I believe in making complex topics simple by breaking them down into clear, step-by-step explanations. I focus on building strong foundational skills first, then gradually move to advanced concepts. I encourage students to ask questions and approach problems from multiple angles, so they don’t just memorize — they truly understand.

A Typical Lesson:
Each session starts with a quick review of previous material, followed by a focused lesson on a specific topic. We work through examples together, and I guide the student through practice problems, offering hints and tips along the way. I end each session by answering questions and assigning light practice to reinforce the material.

What Sets Me Apart:
As a student myself, I know what it’s like to be on the other side of the classroom. I explain things in a relatable way, using the same techniques that helped me succeed. I'm patient, approachable, and understand the school curriculum well — because I’ve recently gone through it myself.
