As a tutor for high school students under the Ontario Education system (Along with IB students in Chemistry), I am willing to:
-Commit myself to tutoring: this includes creation of learning material (notes, problem sets, etc.)
-willing to adapt to the needs of students, based on their needs and progress
- Stay open and approachable for help
-Keep in touch with students and/or parents throughout
Lessons will have a focus on the teaching and revision of high school material in chemistry or mathematics, with problem sets to strengthen knowledge.
A normal tutoring session would likely be as follows:
- Recap/Assignment check and questions
-New material (ie. Lessons)
-Assignment of problem sets, in-clsss assignments
