About Calista
I am a dancer and have been a dance teacher, working with large groups of children ranging Fromm 3-15 years of age, for three years. I have also tutored students my own age for tests such as the ACT and SAT, as well as for specific classes, helping them reach their desired scores and grades. While doing so, I have also maintained a 4.7 GPA in high school, taking a large number of college classes in order to graduate with my 2-year degree before graduating high school.

I tutor for subjects such as math and English, as well as for college-readiness test prep like the ACT and SAT. I believe the best way to learn is through doing, and therefore base my teaching style off of this concept; by providing practice materials and working through the problems with those I am assisting, I hope to improve the understanding of the subject at hand. I am comfortable working both in one-on-one sessions and with groups.
