About Grace

With 9 years of expertise in Geography across all levels, I now teach in an iPad school which allows me to create interactive, resourceful online lessons. I have examiner & correcting experience also with my notes & lessons tailored to exam requirements.
My students agree that their confidence in their own ability has grown and improved from the point where we start off. Many of my students are achieving higher grades than they predict for themselves.

About the lesson

Geography is a very visual subject at junior cycle in particular - my use of mind maps and coloured visual notes can help students who struggle with text heavy notes and textbooks.

Senior cycle students require longer in depth essay style questions. I try not provide essays to be learned off, but more so notes and SRPs which help students structure their own answer and therefore developing their understanding as a whole so that they are prepared for any question type.
Targeted and specific feedback and work can be done to help with the 20% Geography Field Study Project.
