I believe that all students are capable of being skilled in the core subjects of English and Maths, and I will aim to help you realise your potential to excel in these subjects, thereby nurturing your confidence in, and passion for, these subject.
I have a vast array of educational experience to draw from including:
- A 2:1 Undergraduate Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford.
- A history of editing University Dissertations which achieved First Class Honours in a multitude of disciplines.
- Two Years as an English Teacher in a Secondary school where I taught GCSE, and two terms of AQA A Level, Literature B.
- An A Grade Maths A Level and a history of maths tutoring.

I am a highly educated and experienced tutor looking to nurture students' abilities, confidence, and passion in the core subjects of English and Maths. My lessons will aim build up your skills to a high academic level through scaffolding the content and tasks to your abilities and ways of learning. You will learn through challenging and entertaining tasks which apply the knowledge you have been taught both in my tutorials and at school. Whilst I may use my expertise to guide your learning, I will also encourage you to guide your own learning to areas you wish to strengthen or explore.
