Alex is a very knowledgeable teacher who always finds way for you to understand m. She focuses on your goals and also on the bits you struggle the most so that you can overcome them. She is very patient and also fun! The classes are varied and well structured.

First off, she's just a genuinely nice person, which makes every lesson enjoyable. I always look forward to our sessions because it’s fun and interesting to chat with her.

Her teaching style is spot on. She really gets what I know and what I need to work on, and adapts everything perfectly to fit my level. Plus, her way of recording all the vocab and reviewing it regularly is fantastic. It’s helped me remember so much more than I ever thought I could.

Alexandra is very good, particularly in language analysis techniques. Inter - alia include; rhetorical questions, expert opinion, inclusive language and emotive language. I hope that Alexandra will continue to teach our daughter Melissa beyond GCSEs.

Alexandra is my partner, but without trying to sound biased, I can say she has a fantastic approach to learning and is careful to tailor lessons to students needs and abilities.

Alex teaches me German once a week to help me live and work in Germany. Alex is a wonderful teacher, she is very patient full of creative ideas for our lessons. Alex is flexible to my needs, asks questions to understand my style of learning and has a good feel for when to switch between activities to keep me engaged. I have tried quite a few different German lessons in the past and none have been as interesting. Alex is confident to tackle different topics which means rather than sticking to the classic language learning scenarios (shopping, asking directions, etc.) we can talk about the news and other far more interesting topics. This has kept things fresh and encourages me to push myself to have conversation in German I can really enjoy rather than going through the notions memorising vocabulary.

I would highly recommend Alex to anyone looking to learn a language. You'll find your lessons fun and relaxed and the learning sneaks up on you. Suddenly you can say more than you could last week and it didn't feel like work! I am frequently and pleasantly surprised by how well I can remember and use what we talked about in everyday life here in Germany.
