About Liam
My name is Liam, I am a friendly and enthusiastic Mathematics tutor with experience working with children from 7 - 16 years old. My teaching is rooted in individual development, providing opportunities for students to explore and develop, building academic confidence. I am a teacher that cares about each student and understands that it is important to adapt my approach to respond to differing child needs and ability levels to ensure children feel supported and comfortable to ask questions and make mistakes. I love 1:1 tutoring and am very passionate about providing a calming learning environment, utilising different teaching techniques.
I have 5 years experience working as a secondary school maths teacher and 1 year experience providing tutoring both in person and online. I have vast knowledge of the maths curriculum and exam boards, including OCR, AQA and Edexcel.
