Highly experienced Basketball Skill Development Coach in Mequon offering private 1-on-1 training, small-group sessions, team training, camps, and player development programs. Game-focused instruction

My son has benefited greatly from training with Makal. Makal has not only worked with my son on his basketball skills, but also on his mental approach to the game. Makal is knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping players improve. Makal has taken my son’s game to a whole new level.

I met Coach Kel through AAU basketball in Spring 2026. I was impressed with a group lesson he conducted with our team, so I asked if he’d help my son (9 years old) with his development through private lessons. Coach Kel has exceeded my expectations, as he breaks down the game for my son to understand, and we’ve seen improvement in a matter of a few lessons with his ball handling, confidence, and shooting. Coach Kel is truly special, a good human, and cares about developing athletes of all ages. I highly recommend him for any basketball player looking to improve their game and build skill.

My son started training with Makal over 2 years ago. We liked that it can be one-on-one or in a small group. Makal is patient and focuses on what areas of training are needed to make it personalized.

We’ve had a great experience working with Coach Makal. He knows how to push players while still building their confidence, and everything they work on has a purpose. You can see the progress carry over into games. I’d recommend him to any family looking for a coach who is invested in helping their player improve.
