About Terry
I am a native speaker from the UK. I have lived and worked abroad, most recently in Mexico, where I worked for the British Council. I taught all levels of English, but specialised in IELTS and Advanced English. After 14 years in Mexico, I decided to return to the UK. My classes are online and I have met and helped prepare students from all around the world. I have taught teachers, spoken at many education events, designed courses and participated in workshops. While in Mexico, I climbed most of the mountains surrounding Mexico City and a few years ago, I went climbing in the Himalaya. It was an incredible experience.

My lessons are focused on YOUR IELTS goals. You will learn step by step the practical strategies to help you achieve the grade you need. All four skills are covered, either individually (say writing) or as a complete course. All materials are provided as well as homework to support your in-class learning and progress. I also set up mock tests (Cambridge exam papers) for you to practise. The classes will give you the confidence you need to take the exam.
