About Mia

Hi there! My name is Mia and I am a highly experienced, academically rewarding tutor who has been tutoring local students for the past 5 years.

As a person and tutor, I am highly motivated, hardworking and ready to help you achieve your academic potential, as well as build positive life-long work habits in regards to your approach to study and time management.

l am a year 10 student who has experience tutoring children in years K-9 in most subjects, most notably Maths, English and assignment/exam prep and assistance.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I am supportive, engaging, motivating and easy to communicate with. I approach my lessons by exploring the given topic collaboratively, allowing the student to fully understand, and use my own resources to not only learn new mathematical concepts, but practise them effectively.

Each class is typically 1 hour in length and can be held online or in person at my home. In the case that a student is nearby, exceptions for travelling can easily be made.

I tutor primarily in Maths, English and assignment/exam prep, but am also highly proficient in all other subjects within the K-9 year groups.
