Grainne has tutored me over many years for both English and Maths. I struggled and had large content gaps in maths in the build up towards GCSEs which was very stressful, but with Grainne’s help I was comfortably able to achieve a grade 7, allowing me to continue with Economics at A level. Her careful, methodical approach to teaching combined with her enthusiastic and experienced character made it a far more enjoyable process than it otherwise would have been and I cannot recommend her enough. Incidentally, I am currently doing English A level on the back of some earlier tutoring. No matter what level, she has the expertise to be of great help and would be a fantastic choice of Tutor.

Grainne is a wonderful tutor. She worked with our daughter in the run up to the 11+ and quickly identified gaps in her knowledge and came up with a plan to bridge them. Most important, she did this in a way that was entertaining and supportive and helped our daughter to regain her confidence in a number of areas. We’d worked with some other tutors previously, who were lovely, but Grainne managed the perfect balance of being results focused (for us) and nuturing (for our daughter). Highly recommend.

I have no hesitation in recommending Grainne in the highest possible terms. She started tutoring my daughter during lockdown and supported her through her eventual return to school and beyond. Grainne quickly identified the gaps in my daughter's learning and found innovative and creative ways to inspire her to fill them. Over the course of her tutoring sessions with Grainne, my daughter went from saying she hated the subject to saying it was her favourite, and from being given extra support at school to being one of the handful in her class who would finish all the extension tasks.
