My main area of expertise is tutoring in mathematics. Specifically, I’ve tutored primary, secondary, and high school students in geometry, algebra, and pre-calculus. I’ve also had some experience tutoring in science and English. 1. Assist with homework and class assignments. 2. Review course material and help students understand key concepts. 3. Provide study skills coaching and help students develop effective learning strategies. 4. Assist with test preparation and test-taking strategies. My teaching methodology: 1. Get to know the student: Understanding the student's background and interests can help in tailoring my teaching approach to their needs. 2. Assess the student's knowledge: Assess the student's knowledge of the subject I will be teaching. This can help in determining where to start and what areas to focus on during the session. 3. Set goals: I work with the student to set goals for the session and their overall learning in the subject. I make sure the goals are achievable and specific. 4. Create a plan: Based on the assessment and goals, I create a plan for the session. This should include the activities or exercises I will do with the student and provide materials or resources and a timeline for completing the activities. 5. Overall, I am very flexible and responsive to the students’ needs and adjust the plan as necessary.
