About Debbie
I have am a highly experienced teacher and tutor with of 15 years experience, with an excellent achievement rate. I love learning and my job; I get to pass on my passion for learning, as well as the reward in watching students grow in confidence and thrive.
I love learning and reading, and sharing my passion for History and related topics.
My background has involved both working with learners who need that little bit of help to achieving those high grades as well as those who are lacking confidence and struggling with the subject. I have also worked with students from a wide variety of backgrounds and with very diverse needs.
The dinning room is fully set up for tutoring and with educational resources including key schemes and books for students to have a free choice from.
I struggled with literacy when I was younger as I had undiagnosed dyslexia and it was not until I got my hands on Enid Blyton books and got hooked did I truly thrive. I know who it is to struggle, how to need that little extra support, how important it is to build students confidence and not make them feel like they are feeling because they need that little extra support.
