I bring 25 years of math teaching experience along with a doctorate in Special Education to my tutoring practice. My approach centers on developing individualized lesson plans based on each student’s specific needs and strengths — I start by understanding how a student learns best, where they’re struggling, and what they’re already good at. From there, I design lessons that leverage their strengths to tackle weaker areas, making math feel more approachable and less intimidating. Over the years, I’ve found that this personalized, strengths-based method leads to lasting improvement, not just short-term fixes.
