My teaching methodology is based in a solid content background and ability to respond to the diverse needs of my students. I have had extensive experience in all fields of mathematics, including Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, Trigonometry, and Calculus. I couple this content knowledge with the reality that different students learn in different ways, and thus I respond appropriately to the needs of my individual students in how I work with them in these various content areas.
I have a Bachelor's in Mathematics and Computer Science from Santa Clara University, as well as a Master's in Education from University of Oregon. I have several years of student teaching experience in the classroom, and have taught hundreds of students from diverse backgrounds with diverse needs. These fields have included various mathematics classes, college preparatory classes, as well as special education. Through these diverse experiences, I have established a critical lense in which I respond to the diverse needs of my students.
