About Lewis
I'm Lewis, a medical student with a previous degree in biomedical science. As you can imagine, I love science and I really enjoy helping others to learn and understand scientific concepts.
My area of expertise lies predominantly in Biology, however, I am also able to provide tutoring in Physics and Chemistry. I can tutor maths up to GCSE level.

I am a medical student at Brighton & Sussex Medical School and I also have a first class degree in Biomedical Sciences. Naturally, science is my area of expertise and I am extremely passionate about passing on my love of science to others. I have more than two years tutoring experience, teaching both maths and science.
My teaching style is all about keeping everything interesting! I believe students learn best when they're enjoying themselves, so my aim is to keep lessons as engaging and fun as possible. I also endevour to help all of my students feel comfortable sharing their ideas and thoughts with me and I strive to create a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
We will begin by introducing topics and I ask my students what they already know about the subject, which helps me to get an idea of where they stand. Then, we can move on to discussing the subject in greater detail. I like to prepare some questions and prompts in advance, as I find students are most engaged when I ask them questions and open up discussions.
