About Rose
My experience in music includes teaching private lessons to a wide variety of individuals age 6 through senior adults. I find great satisfaction in witnessing the progress of each student, especially those who are eager to learn and willing to put in at least a moderate amount of effort. My music degrees (bachelor, master's, and doctorate) along with extensive experience in teaching music have prepared me well for helping students achieve at their highest potential.

It's never too late to learn a music skill! Piano lessons for beginning through advanced levels of learning are offered for ages 6 and up, beginning guitar for ages 10 and up, and singing at all levels for ages 14 and up. Students will progress at their own speed, based primarily on regular attendance at lessons and the amount of time spent practicing in between lessons. Thirty minutes per day for at least 5 days per week is ideal for beginning level students; longer practice times will be beneficial for more advanced students. However, any practice at all is better than none! Instruction will be individualized for each student, whether the goal is solo performance, participation in a musical ensemble, involvement in church music, or simply personal fulfillment.
