About Oliver
Physics has always been a passion of mine, and I look forward to meeting both students who already share that passion, and those who may need a little more than the teaching available at their school or specified in the curriculum to discover that passion. Of course, if physics doesn't really light up your world but you just need to get a good grade - or if this is the case for you in mathematics, biology or chemistry - then I can help with that, too!
In addition to A-levels in physics and maths, I have an MSci (a four-year undergraduate degree with a Master's status) in theoretical physics and an MPhil research degree in particle physics, both studied at University College London, which consistently ranks in the top 10 universities worldwide according to the respected QS ranking system.

You (or your child) will find me a friendly, approachable, and highly experienced personal tutor. I have several years' experience as a private tutor as well as classroom teaching experience, with some primary-age students in the past, but the majority at KS3, KS4/GCSE, or A-level. My qualifications in physics are an MSci (4-year undergraduate degree) and MPhil (postgraduate research degree), both from UCL, a world-class university in London. I also have classroom experience at a community college (secondary school with sixth form).
Lessons will be conducted by a mixture of open discussion, discussion of problems the student has had trouble with in class or in homework, and worked examples.
Lessons will typically be for one hour.
I can teach mathematics and general science up to GCSE, and mathematics and physics to A-level.
