About Martyn
I am a professional classical singer, opera singer and singing teacher with decades of experience. I have sung on the greatest stages in the world with top conductors and orchestras and now I bring this wealth of experience to my teaching studio to pass on to others. That's why my teaching business is called The Music Tree.

I treat each student as an individual responding to their wishes as to what type of genres they want to sing and where their voice is at the present time and what their aspirations are. A healthy safe technique is very important - it's what has got me through 40 years of performing at the top level - and I help and guide pupils in achieving this goal. You can expect your range to grow, your stamina to build and the tone quality of your singing to achieve it's optimum. I also offer additional skills such as piano teaching to grade 8 and music theory to support your all round musicianship.
