About Tessa
I am a fully qualified teacher with a Masters of Teaching, majoring in Maths and Science. I have been teaching for 5 years but am on maternity leave. I extensive experience teaching years 7, 8, 9, 10 and VCE Math Methods 1/2 and VCE General Maths.

I will begin teaching a new concept by first relating it knowledge already established by the student, then give an overview of where it fits in and what other concepts it relates to. I have a very structured and routine approach to teaching, often using step by step procedures while also ensuring the student gains a deeper conceptual understanding by having them apply the concept to real life.
