From Grade 1 through Grade 12, students experience a progressive curriculum that builds a strong foundation in Mathematics and Economics, alongside a broad educational background. In Grade 1, children begin with basic Mathematics, including addition and subtraction, and an introduction to shapes, while also developing early literacy skills through reading and writing. By Grade 2, they advance to more complex arithmetic, such as larger numbers and simple fractions, and explore basic science and social studies concepts, all within a framework of creative arts and physical education. In Grade 3, students tackle multiplication and division, delve into more detailed science topics like ecosystems, and continue to build their language arts skills. Grade 4 sees them engaging with division, decimals, and geometry, while learning about state history and refining their artistic talents and physical fitness. As they reach Grade 5, students encounter fractions and decimals in greater depth, begin to explore algebraic concepts, and study human biology and ecosystems. Moving into Grade 6, the curriculum introduces ratios, proportions, and advanced geometry, complemented by more detailed studies in science and social studies, including ancient civilizations.
In Grade 7, students explore pre-algebra and statistics, dive into critical reading and writing, and examine the fundamentals of economic systems. By Grade 8, they tackle Algebra I and geometry while studying U.S. history and foundational economics. In Grade 9, the focus shifts to Algebra I and Geometry, with an introduction to Economics and a continuation of general education in English, science, and social studies, supported by physical education and electives. Grade 10 advances to Algebra II and advanced geometry, with principles of Economics, chemistry, and U.S. history, alongside foreign language studies and additional electives.
Grade 11 introduces pre-calculus and statistics, with a focused study on Microeconomics, complemented by advanced sciences and literature. Students continue their foreign language studies and engage in physical education, while also having the option to take Advanced Placement (AP) courses such as AP Calculus or AP Statistics. Finally, in Grade 12, the curriculum includes Calculus and advanced statistics, along with Macroeconomics and other advanced economics topics. Students round out their education with English literature, an advanced study of science or elective options, continued foreign language proficiency, and physical education. Electives such as AP Economics or internships provide students with practical experience and a capstone to their secondary education.
