About Josie
I am a high school student who have been a private math tutor for 1 year. I taught 3 students age 6,10, and 13. My students all recived signifigant higher grades after tutoring and a strong foundation of math knowlege preparing them for the future. I am a straight A student for both my high school algebra classes and my college calculus class; I also take great pleasure in helping my classmates with their math homework or leading a small study session before an exam.

When working with a student, the first thing is to understand the student's struggle and his or her current situation. After learning about the student's background, it would be my goal to establish confidence and trust between me and my student and creating a detailed plan as well as how to implement the plan to achieve desired results. The plan inclues both the needs of the student and various methods to track student progress.
