About Amari
As a high school senior with advanced coursework in U.S. and world history, public speaking, and civic leadership, I bring not only strong academic experience but also a real passion for helping younger students understand the past and why it matters. What sets me apart is that I’m close enough in age to relate to K–8 learners, but experienced enough to explain history with clarity, patience, and energy. I treat tutoring as mentorship, helping students not only memorize facts, but really connect with the stories that shaped our world.

Hi! My name is Amari, and I’m a high school senior with a passion for history — especially the stories, people, and big ideas that shaped the world we live in. I’ve spent years studying American and world history, and I know exactly what students in grades K–8 need to succeed. Whether it’s remembering the presidents, understanding the Constitution, or just making sense of the past in a fun, simple way. I make history feel like a story worth remembering, not just dates to memorize.
