- What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught for 10 years in secondary schools (Bath, Blandford and Wimborne). I have taken after school French clubs in various primary schools in Dorset. I have also taught at a private prep school near Wimborne. I have over 12 years experience tutoring privately on an individual basis and small groups of all ages and levels. I have marked for French and German GCSE boards since 1994

I teach French and German to anyone who is willing to learn. Enjoyment and commitment are key elements for successful language acquisition.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
French and German
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a dual B.A Hons in French and German from Southampton University.
I gained distinction in my PGCE from Reading University.
- How much do you charge?
I normally charge £20 for pre GCSE lessons of 1 hour and £25 for GCSE lessons, £30 for A-level. For a shared lesson I charge £12 each for pre GCSE, £15 for GCSE and £18 for A-level. For groups of 4-6 I negotiate prices.
I do charge up to 25p a mile if I have to travel to teach.
- Where do you teach?
I normally teach from home (Winterborne Kingston, Dorset) but am prepared to travel up to 10 miles to teach (Blandford, Wimborne, Dorchester)
- When are you available?
I am available during the day and early evenings (not Wednesdays or Tuesday mornings). During April - October I can only teach a few weekends.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach French to all ages and all levels and German up to GCSE.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I prepare students for KS3, 11plus, common entrance, GCSE, IGCSE and A-level

- Do you have a personal message for students?
Anyone can learn to speak another language and it is an invaluable tool for the future. It doesn't matter how good you are/were at languages, there is always the possibility to improve your communication with others all over the world.
