About D S
As a hip-hop lyric writing teacher, I bring a combination of creative experience, practical songwriting knowledge, and a genuine passion for helping artists find their voice. My teaching focuses not only on writing rhymes, but on understanding flow, storytelling, wordplay, song structure, emotion, and how to make lyrics connect with listeners.
I believe every artist has a unique story to tell. My role is to provide a supportive and professional environment where students can experiment, make mistakes, receive honest feedback, and continuously improve. I teach through practical exercises, real examples, beat-based writing, and personalized guidance rather than relying only on theory.
Whether you are a complete beginner or an aspiring rapper looking to sharpen your writing, I aim to make every session structured, engaging, and valuable. My goal is simple: help you turn your thoughts into lyrics, your lyrics into songs, and your ideas into your own authentic sound.

My approach as a hip-hop lyric writing teacher is to teach through creativity, rhythm, and real-world practice. I believe students learn best when they are encouraged to express their own experiences rather than simply memorize rules.
I break lyric writing into practical elements such as rhyme schemes, flow, wordplay, storytelling, metaphors, punchlines, song structure, and rhythm. I demonstrate a technique through an example, then encourage the student to create their own version. I also use beats and freestyle exercises to help students understand how lyrics interact with rhythm.
My goal is not to make every student write like me, but to help them find their own voice, develop their unique style, and turn their thoughts into meaningful lyrics. I give constructive feedback, explain what works and why, and help them rewrite their ideas without taking away their originality.
