About Antonio

I am originally from Lima, Peru, but I am living in Brooklyn, New York.

I first taught language and literature through a workshop at the Catholic University of Peru, in which I also learned strategies and methods for teaching, evaluating, and incorporating technology into the teaching process.

I have taught classes on Spanish literature and have also been advising in the writing of application essays for top-tier universities.

My background in linguistics allows me to explain grammar in a way that is accessible. I have also taken courses in German and French, and through these courses have picked up great tools to teach languages to others.

I am passionate about education, and strive to engage students with material that is relevant to their interests and expectations.

About the lesson

Lessons tailored to student's needs. We will establish clear objectives and the methods necessary for their achievement. I have materials for lessons from accredited Spanish as a second language teaching institutions.

I am an approachable person; passionate about learning and teaching. I recognize that, in order to teach well, a tutor has to understand what motivates a student and engage that for the lessons.

I have done workshops on teaching Spanish as a second language. I have given Spanish as a second language classes; taught Spanish literature classes; and assisted students writing application essays for University.
