About Claire
I am a Junior at Cornell University working towards a double major in both Government and History as well as a minor in the History of Capitalism. I worked as a tutor in high school, and I would love to continue to help students thrive in subject areas they may be struggling in. I have struggled with different lessons or subjects in the past, and my tutors have been wonderful and so helpful. I hope to help students feel more confident in their ability to learn material they have been struggling with, and to lend a hand in understanding confusing or tricky subjects, test taking strategies, time management, writing, the college process, standardized tests, and more. There is nothing more rewarding than the moment something confusing clicks, and all of the sudden it seems simple!

I am open to giving lessons to any age groups, but preferably High School level and younger with motivation and the drive to understand material and do well. I want to help YOU understand, I do not want to just understand for you -- that won't get us anywhere! I am a patient and encouraging person who won't put too much pressure on anyone, but will encourage them and explain the subject matter as many times as I need to, ask many questions or give many examples, all with the goal of that exciting lightbulb moment when something confusing finally clicks.
