About Emily
Having studied both History and Politics for A Level and then combined Honours at Newcastle University, I've gained extensive knowledge in this area, which I continue to use in my day to day life.
Inter-personally, I am a strong communicator and love working with people to improve and achieve the results they are striving for.
Located in South West London, I'm happy to travel within this region to tutor and support those working towards GCSE & A - Level History and Politics.
In terms of teaching style, I bring creativity to the way I teach so that information is retained by the students. It is important for lessons to be interactive and I can adapt to the style each individual learns best.
Studying such a comprehensive and broad subjects will develop both transferable and specific skills, I certainly use my degree daily in my professional life and I am keen to help others develop these traits too.
In my spare time I lead a healthy lifestyle and enjoy socialising, exercising, charity work, cultural activities and keeping abreast of current affairs.
