About Payton
I am a postgraduate Art History student who specializes in 20th century European and American architectural history and the study of the built environment. I recently graduated my History of Art BA Honors with a 1st class degree. I have studied art history in the US and the UK, enabling me to teach the nuances of academic syntax and various styles of writing based on personal experience.

I base my classes on the writing element involved in art history. I aim to help my students establish a distinct voice within their work, allowing them to learn how to directly illustrate an opinion or an argument clearly and effectively in essays. My lessons also focus on fundamental research skills to ensure my students have the tools to procure, vet, and utilize sources appropriately; a valuable skill for students new to independent research.
