I've gained valuable tutoring experience while working with students with various learning needs in GCSE Mathematics at William Morris Sixth Form and Chelsea Academy. My approach involves simplifying complex information into a clear and concise format, making it accessible to all learners.

I'm a living example of how dedication and the right strategies can lead to success. From being a struggling GCSE student in year 10, I managed to achieve an A in GCSE History within just one year. I'm eager to share the strategies, methodologies, and mindset hacks that led to my remarkable transformation.

I firmly believe that no student is ever too far behind to achieve their academic goals. While I have numerous testimonials about my own academic journey, I prefer to inspire students through practical assistance that helps them achieve excellent results.

About the lesson

Initial meeting:
- Establish the student's interest level, progress rate, and current challenges.
- Create goals and measure student performance using a progress tracker.

During tutorials:
- Student should bring course materials, working with the student I will prioritise building the student's core history skills, which will have a speedy effect on improving student progress
- Using a variety of primary and secondary sources, I will help students grasp complex histories and adapt to the challenges in critical analysis.
- Student will be invited to 'ask, answer, discuss' what they have learned to improve the subject knowledge retention.
- Introduce study techniques for memorisation, critical analysis, judgment-weighing skills, and big-picture thinking.

Through engaging with students interpersonally, I will find ways to incorporate the student's passions into my teaching style, supporting the student's motivation and competency to achieve successful results.
