I was an Ambassador at the University of Nottingham, where I was trained to work with children of different ages. I was also a mentor during my A-Levels and tutored both GCSE and A-level students who were expected below average grades until I intervened, helping one student move from a grade D to B within a year. Their improvement reflected their targets and the work put in. From experience, I found private lessons bettered students understandings by focusing on their needs. I love seeing the evolution of their progress.

In light of the recent pandemic, it has been hard for students to learn online in classes and understand the content of their subjects. My aim will be to get the student to where they want to be by understanding how the student learns and reacts to the subject. From this I will offer the student worksheets, different learning methods, exam techniques and stress their understanding of the subjects. I will also incorporate note taking skills, analytical, organisation and time management skills within their lessons to prepare them for their futures. (This can be requested to be taken out.) Private lessons will take place via Skype.

- I am happy to teach ages 11 years above.
The first lesson is free. In that lesson my primary aim would be to find out which exam board and what topics they are covering in that subject in school, which areas they want to improve and where they need extra help. Using this, I will make a plan with the student on everything that we will cover, how and when, if they would like to continue.
