About Eilis
I am 26 and have always had a passion for History and learning as much about the world as possible. From trips around to historical sites to doing a History degree, the passion hasn't left as I grew up.
I have loved teaching since I was young. Imagine the typical story of lining all your dolls or figures up and conducting a whiteboard lesson, that was me.
I also love to run, hike, go to the cinema and read a book.

My approach to teaching is about making the learning fun first of all. From my experience this makes it easier to remember and to be able to convert information into essays, exams and course work.
Usually my lessons are around 45 minutes which is broken up into 3 sections:
1. Recap of what we learnt last week
2. Next section of work + activity
3. Practice questions or essay practice (for KS1 and KS2 students this is normally a fun quiz)
I have been a tutor for 3 years now and have worked with all ages and experience striving to improve knowledge and results.
