About Addison
I am a third-year History Secondary Education Major at Colorado Mesa University with experience as a German mentor in high school. I have had a passion for history ever since middle school and find the field to be very exciting. I also was on the Grand Junction High School Academic Team, so I have a good grasp on general knowledge and an interest in trivia. As for my non-educational life, my hobbies include antique collecting, video games, Dungeons and Dragons, Magic the Gathering, and caring for my turtle and four frogs.

I aim to assist in history courses by proposing alternate ways of thinking about and interpreting history, while also offering advice on how to format essays, citations, and other projects. Editing suggestions will be given in these situations as well. I also aim to show the interesting or more entertaining sides of history to entice those who find history "boring." Lessons will be tailored to the need of the student (including scheduling to the best of my ability), and will be delivered remotely. My expertise is with history in the range of middle to high school subjects, and I have a great deal of knowledge in world history specifically.
