About Emily
I am a 1st year historian currently studying at balliol college. I don't have any professional experience teaching, but have often walked my sister through essays and content so feel I could be a good tutor. I can also tutor students through admissions processes, particularly relating to oxbridge.

It depends on the level/subject I am tutoring for, however generally I will first ensure the student understands the content, themes and key agents of change. We might then start looking at particular essay questions, discussing these essays and putting together plans. In terms of uni admissions, we can discuss personal statements - for oxbridge mentoring I am probably restricted to history, looking at the HAT and interview process.
