About Rupert
I have studied both English & European Modern History under the Oxford & Cambridge Board syllabus GCE “O” “A” & “S” Levels in my time at Sherborne School where I also undertook additional studies into two fascinating world events, the French Revolution and Napoleon Bonaparte (1793-1815) and the Russian Revolution and Joseph Stalin (1917-1954) and completed an additional module on the Rise and Fall of the Third Reich in (Nazi) Germany (1924-1945). Earlier in my academic career. I had completed projects on the English Civil War (1642-47) and the American Civil War (1861-1865).

Bringing the past to life In the present to learn lessons for the future. It is important to engage students with enthusiasm as well as accuracy as i expect my students to think for themselves as if they too were living the events at a particular moment in History.

I can vouch for Rupert as his sister of 60+ years. I have followed his fortunes and career from a very well educated background at private schools in the UK and his law degree gained in the 80's in London.
He has always had a passion for History and his knowledge and recall of past events as well as their origins and consequences are second to none.
He is an excellent communicator and has great empathy with understanding the needs and aspirations of those he is
tutoring and he would be a great asset & motivator to people interested learning more about historical events.
I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone interested in learning more about how our past affects not just our present but can have real consequences for our future and armed with that knowledge how we can harness change for the good if we use that power wisely.
